One of the honors of our work is connecting interested community members with exciting projects in our schools. Sometimes this means connecting teachers with community experts to share about their experiences and other times it means helping to fund ideas that teachers have for their classroom.

As teachers and school staff start to think about the upcoming 2019-2020 school year, we wanted to provide an avenue for them to fund their creative and exciting ideas for their classroom and their school. Then we will help rally community members to donate to the projects, connect you to local assets and use funds from the King Soopers Community Rewards program to help make these dreams a reality!

This opportunity is open to teachers and school staff in the Jefferson Area schools (Edgewater Elementary School, Lumberg Elementary School, Molholm Elementary School and Jefferson Junior/Senior High School).

Current Funding Projects

Steps for Teachers and School Staff

  1. Write up a description of your idea and the total cost to complete the project. Connect your project to student learning goals.
  2. Email the description, student learning goals and pictures connected to items to be purchased with the project funds to joel@edgewatercollective.org.
  3. Edgewater Collective will create the online donation page and share the link with you (here’s an example).  Share it with friends and family. We’ll share it with the community.
  4. Whether you reach your project giving goal or not, we will connect you with the donated funds to purchase materials for your project.

All funds donated go to the designated project.
