This spring one of the Instructional Coaches at Molholm Elementary School reached out to us about renovating a space at their school for teacher learning and collaboration.

We worked with local businesses and neighborhood organizations to raise funds and materials to renovate a temporary building as the Molholm Teacher Learning Space. Volunteers helped to paint and rip up the carpet. Kevin Yoshida from Ideate Design developed a design for the space. Banner Signs installed wall graphics and Calahan Construction installed new carpet.

On December 13, we held a grand opening in the space to thank everyone who made the project possible and provide lunch for the teachers and staff at Molholm Elementary. Lakewood Mayor Adam Paul shared about the value of education in the area and encouraged teachers.

The Molholm community has had some unique challenges over the last year and the space has really been an encouragement to teachers and staff already.
