Jefferson Success Academy: Summer 2024

Jefferson Success Academy is a free, four week summer school program focused on increasing students’ math skills along with engaging enrichment activities and project-based learning. Classes of no more than 15 students will be led by licensed teachers. Jefferson Success Academy is open to current 3rd-5th grade students from Edgewater Elementary and Lumberg Elementary.

Jefferson Success Academy will be held at Edgewater Elementary School this summer.

Curriculum

We will be utilizing the i-Ready curriculum from Curriculum Associates to provide personalized support in math for students. This curriculum monitors student progress and allows teachers to group students by their learning strengths and gaps.

• Art, physical education and STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) projects each week

• School-wide Fun Fridays each week

Program Details

• The program runs from June 3-28.
• The program starts at 8 a.m. and ends at 11:30 a.m.
• Breakfast and lunch are provided for free by Jeffco Public Schools.
• If students have their school-issued Chromebook, they should bring it with them each day. If they don’t have a school-issued Chromebook, we will have Chromebooks available for use.
