Our education work is focused on doing everything we can with partners to ensure that students are ready for college or career. Part of this important work is working with the community to provide scholarships to seniors as they pursue education beyond high school.

This year we have two scholarship opportunities for seniors at Jefferson Junior/Senior High School.

The Ross Morgan, Saint of 1968, Pay It Forward Scholarship

The Ross Morgan scholarship was started by Jefferson alumnus Ross Morgan who graduated in 1968. He received a college scholarship from a community member and would like to pay it forward with a scholarship to a Jefferson graduate who demonstrates the drive to succeed and a desire to pay it forward to others. In this first year, the recipient will receive a $1,000 scholarship to a university, community college or trade school.

Scholarship Requirements:

  • 3.2 GPA or higher
  • Demonstrated financial need

Application deadline is Tuesday, April 30 at 5 p.m.
