What are School Support Teams?

A School Support Team is a group of school staff, parents, community members, local organizations, and business leaders that meet quarterly to support a local school. The school principal presents needs and opportunities at the school and the School Support Team works collaboratively to meet those needs and opportunities.

School Support Teams can support their local schools by providing volunteers, supporting teacher appreciation activities, spreading the word to the community about the great work happening at the school and much more!

During the 2024-2025 school year, we will have School Support Teams for Edgewater Elementary School, Lumberg Elementary School, and Jefferson Junior/Senior High School.
