As we start this second semester, we are committed to listening to parents and students to bring targeted academic, enrichment and economic supports.

Based on the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on our Latino community members, all of our supports for January and February are only available online. We will not risk the safety and health of our students and families by managing in-person learning opportunities.

Pathway Pods: Student and Family Classes

Free Pathway Pods for students are online Monday-Thursday from 3:30-4:30 p.m. We offer for extra support for 4th-8th grade students in math and literacy. We also offer enrichment programs for elementary students.

For this semester we will be utilizing iReady curriculum and supports to target instruction in math and literacy for 4th-8th grade students. We have hired students from Jefferson Junior/Senior High School and Arvada High School to support this instruction. We are also looking for adult volunteers to support these academic supports. We are also utilizing Unboxed learning kits to enhance parent-led enrichment that supports remote-learning at home.

Free Pathway Pods for families are online Monday-Thursday from 4:30-5:30 p.m. We offer classes in yoga, cooking, Zumba and other fun activities.

Spring Programming

As the weather warms up, we are planning to move Pathway Pods outdoors to park sites in northeast Lakewood and southeast Arvada. We will be partnering with Balón USA for soccer programming. We’ll continue to offer enrichment, academic and family classes at these two outdoor sites.
