In 2014, we started the Jefferson Success Pathway collective impact project with multiple community partners to strengthen current partnerships and build new ones so that all kids in the Jefferson Area school could succeed from cradle to career. The collective impact project sunset during the 2018-2019 school year, yet Edgewater Collective remains committed to publishing yearly reports on cradle to career milestones.
We are focused on four schools in the 80214 area:
- Edgewater Elementary School
- Lumberg Elementary School
- Molholm Elementary School
- Jefferson Junior/Senior High School
Currently, our focus is on increasing and advocating for the right resources and supports in our focus area schools to drive improvement in cradle to career milestones.
Our goal is to use data as a spotlight to show what is working instead of using data a hammer to destroy what isn’t working. Because we are focused on a small geographic area, we want to listen to those who are serving on the ground to hear the stories behind the data points.
We hope to use the data and stories from Jefferson Community Report: 2018-2019 to guide community conversations around advocating for the right resources and supports so that all children in our area can succeed from cradle to career.
Stay tuned for more details about these conversations.
