After we brought together free lunches with literacy support last summer in a program called Lunch & Learn, we listened to families and knew we needed to offer free after school academic and enrichment programming in local parks. Throughout the fall of 2020, we offered free Pathway Pods at Walker-Branch Park in Lakewood thanks to great partnerships. We then brought Pathway Pods online over Zoom throughout the winter. Then in March 2021, Pathway Pods expanded to Columbine Park in southeast Arvada along with Walker-Branch Park in northeast Lakewood. Last week, we closed out Pathway Pods as we prepare for our summer Jefferson Success Academy at Edgewater Elementary School.
Our mission is cultivating partnerships, and without these partnerships, Pathway Pods would not have been possible. So we wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to our partners and staff that made these free, fun programs possible for students and families!
