Edgewater Collective is hiring a part-time Office Coordinator to support office tasks for their various programs including Jefferson Success Academy, worker cooperatives and other efforts. The role will start part-time at 10 hours a week, but could increase throughout the year. A great fit for this role is a person who is bilingual (English and Spanish), a quick learner, flexible and organized.
Responsibilities
- Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency
- Maintain files and records with effective filing systems
- Support other teams with various administrative tasks (redirecting calls, disseminating correspondence, scheduling meetings etc.)
- Greet and assist visitors when they arrive at the office
- Monitor office expenditures and handle all office contracts
- Perform basic bookkeeping activities and update the accounting system
- Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders
- Assist in vendor relationship management
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as office coordinator or in a similar role
- Experience in customer service will be a plus
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and office management systems and procedures
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Apple office software (Pages, Numbers, Keynote) and Quickbooks Online
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Reliable with patience and professionalism
Position Specifics
- In-person role at Edgewater Collective office (2497 Fenton Street, Edgewater)
- Starting pay is $25 an hour
- 10 hours a week but hours could increase throughout the year
