So far this year, we’ve raised $24,500 and made it to middle school!
Over the next few months, I am working with various partners to build our Leadership Council for the cradle to career pathway. Already I am seeing the benefit of having a backbone entity like Edgewater Collective whose main purpose is to get organizations and leaders to work together on a common vision.
Just last week I met with leaders from Open World Learning who are looking to expand their after school computer coding program to more schools in the area. Next week I am meeting with the CEO of Emagineif who is designing an after school program for middle and high school students. My goal is for these two groups to focus on programming for different age groups instead of both focusing on elementary students.
Communicating and networking different organizations so they don’t overlap allows us to allocate resources for maximum impact.
Help us continue this work of building the cradle to career pathway so that all kids in our area can succeed.
Donate here and support the efforts of Edgewater Collective.
