Want to Make a Difference in Your Child’s Education?

Are you looking for ways to engage your community for stronger partnerships between families, schools, and communities? Colorado FLTI is excited to host a FREE online series this summer to give you and other Colorado parents and guardians a space to explore, be inspired, and develop skills for advocating for children in school. This 10-week Civic Learning Lab brings the training to you—wherever you are in Colorado—to consider your role in partnerships for brighter futures for your children’s education. 

Through inspiring guest speakers, facilitated discussions, and engaging activities, the Family Engagement Civic Learning Lab is an opportunity to better understand educational systems and take action in your community. 

Here are the details: Registration is now open and closes on July 17th- go to rmfec.org/cll and click “Sign Up” 

• Sessions will be on Thursday evenings from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. from July 24^th until September 25^th
• There is no cost to participate, and participants will receive a complimentary workbook to follow along with each session
• By attending 8 of the 10 sessions, you will receive a certificate of completion from Colorado State University
• Simultaneous Interpretation will be provided for all sessions for English and Spanish speakers 
• All sessions will be held 100% online via Zoom- you can join us from wherever you have an internet connection

El programa FLTI de Colorado se complace en ofrecer una serie virtual GRATUITA este verano para brindarte a ti y a otros padres y tutores de Colorado un espacio para explorar, inspirarse y desarrollar habilidades para abogar por los niños en el entorno escolar. Este Laboratorio Cívico de Compromiso Familiar de 10 semanas te lleva la capacitación directamente a donde estés—en cualquier parte de Colorado—para reflexionar sobre tu papel en las alianzas para un futuro más brillante en la educación de tus hijos.

A través de oradores invitados inspiradores, discusiones facilitadas y actividades dinámicas, el Laboratorio Cívico es una oportunidad para comprender mejor los sistemas educativos y tomar acción en tu comunidad.

Detalles:

• Las inscripciones ya están abiertas y cierran el 17 de julio – visita rmfec.org/cll y haz clic en “Sign Up”
• Las sesiones serán los jueves por la tarde de 6:00 p.m. a 7:30 p.m., desde el 24 de julio hasta el 25 de septiembre
• No hay ningún costo para participar, y los participantes recibirán un cuaderno de trabajo gratuito para seguir cada sesión
• Si asistes a 8 de las 10 sesiones, recibirás un certificado de finalización de la Universidad Estatal de Colorado (CSU)
• Se proporcionará interpretación simultánea en inglés y español en todas las sesiones
