In October, we brought in Inez Talamantes from Arriba Mi Negocio to lead a workshop for parents that were interested in starting their own business. Part of our mission focuses on thriving families and equipping parents with the tools to start their own business can be an important step toward this goal.

One of the parents who attended, Ms. Moreno, was inspired to work toward starting her own cleaning company. After the workshop in October, she signed up for a ten week class with Arriba Mi Negocio focused on starting a new business. She is now almost done with the ten week class and is ready to register her company with the State of Colorado.

We will keep you updated on Ms. Moreno and the progress of starting her own business. Edgewater Collective’s role is to listen to our community and bring in the resources that will equip them to thrive. Ms. Moreno’s developing story is a great example of what we hope will happen in the lives of our local families.
