The Big Dream
Edgewater Collective is entering its next decade of working with the community and it’s time to dream big! Our organization’s strength and uniqueness comes from our collective work with Latino community members. Now it’s time to dream together about a community home to take our work to the next level so that Latino community members in Jefferson County have every opportunity to thrive.
The Need
In surrounding counties like Denver and Aurora, there are community spaces where diverse communities can find their cultural home and thrive. In Jefferson County, there are not many spaces co-created with Latino community members.
The Co-Creation Process
In February and March, Edgewater Collective will bring Latino community members and organizational partners together to dream and co-create what a community place could look like in east central Jefferson County. This place would have programming and space for all age groups to grow and thrive.
Join us for these upcoming community brainstorming sessions. Sessions will be in Spanish, but interpretation will be provided for English speaking participants.
- Saturday, February 17 from 1-3 p.m. at Edgewater Collective (2497 Fenton Street)
- Friday, March 1 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at Edgewater Collective (2497 Fenton Street)

March 2, 2024 8:28 pmHiya Joel – I feel so silly but thought you’d laugh at this story. I stopped over (late) from the JPS parent summit at Summit Ridge MS trying to join you folks for three community conversation that, I’ve just learned took place yesterday morning. 🙂
As these are personal interest pieces, I don’t have my workphone on me to call directly or I would, but this is the next best thing. 🙂 We were out of town for the first community combo over Presidents Day weekend. Hope you cleaned great insight and both were well attended.
Have a great weekend – Debby 🙂
