Volunteer opportunity description: Catch Healthy Habits is fun for kids and adults 50 plus! The program is designed for the work with kids in after-school and summer programs to teach them about eating healthy foods and the importance of physical activity. Volunteers work with kids to teach nutrition lessons, play games and provide a healthy snack for one hour each week. We run for eight weeks, three seasons a year…fall, spring and summer. We have volunteers that do one, two or all three seasons! Come join a team at Edgewater or Lumberg Elementary and help the kids learn some healthy habits!
