We have almost 50 students signed up for the College Jumpstart program this summer! We are looking for mentors to meet with students three times during the summer to help prepare students for college.

Here is what the mentor role entails:
  • Mentor meeting at 11:30 am on Wednesday, June 14 at Jefferson Jr/Sr High (2305 Pierce Street)
  • Initial meeting with small group of Jefferson graduates on Wednesday, June 14 from 12-12:30 pm at the high school
  • Work with your small group of students to find a time to meet together in July and August

Your role is to answer questions for students and encourage them to take the necessary steps to get to college in the fall. We will need to run a background check as part of the application process.
