Volunteer opportunity description: Volunteer at least once a week at the Edgewater Elementary OWL after-school program. The site operates from 3:15-6:00pm, each Monday-Thursday.
Volunteer responsibilities include:
- Assist site staff in running the OWL program and teaching curriculum
- Serve as a role model and mentor to OWL students by modeling a positive attitude, a healthy self-image, and creating an atmosphere of trust
- Inspire students to develop personally meaningful projects
- Help create a fun environment by bringing new ideas to the site
Volunteer opportunity suitable for: Adults
Time Commitment: At least one day per week for approximately three hours (3:15-6pm)
